How does Garner work with my company?

Garner is an additional healthcare benefit paid for by your company. When you use Garner to find a doctor and then see that doctor, we’ll send you a check to cover your out-of-pocket expenses for your medical bills. Your employer pays for the benefit, and we pay you.

What does Garner cost?

This benefit is 100% paid by your employer. That means it is completely free for you to use.

When can I contact the Concierge?

You can reach our Concierge team at 866-761-9586, concierge@getgarner.com, or by tapping “Message the Concierge” in the Garner Health app. We’re available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

 

We invite you to reach out to us at any time. However, if it is outside our normal business hours, our Concierge team will get back to you at the start of the next business day. You can always look up doctors on our website or the Garner Health app, but if you're experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911.

How are you different from my insurance (health) plan?

Garner is not an insurance plan. We are an additional healthcare benefit that helps you get the most out of your existing health plan. We’ll guide you to the best in-network doctors and cover your eligible out-of-pocket medical bills when you see a Garner-recommended provider.

Is Garner compliant with government privacy and information security regulations like HIPAA?

Yes. Your privacy is important to us. That’s why Garner meets or exceeds all federal requirements for safeguarding Protected Health Information (PHI) of patients under the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
